Oplev den nye Vondel Gulag i Warzone’s Mid-Season Update
I Warzone’s upcoming mid-season update, players will be treated with a new addition to the game’s latest map – the regular Battle Royale mode. This, of course, includes a brand new Gulag experience. While we saw this Gulag in the Season 4 blog post, the true excitement comes from experiencing it firsthand. Thanks to newly leaked footage, we can now observe more of the upcoming location, which resembles a beloved Gulag.
At first glance, the Vondel Gulag map appears to be symmetrical. It has a circular center, presumably for the flag if none of the players get eliminated. Additionally, it resembles the original Gulag Showers from the first Warzone map, Verdansk. These maps feature three lanes with a focus point. This map arrives in Season 4 Reloaded, which launches on either July 5th or July 12th, both of which land in the middle of the season. According to the Season 4 blog post, this new Gulag is “hidden deep within the more medieval parts of the city.”
Players with sharp eyes were quick to notice similarities between this new location and Gulag Showers, where many pointed out the apparent visual similarity. The apparent reskin appears to be popular among players who are happy to see this Gulag return to Vondel. One player believes that this particular Gulag style is the only form that should exist as it does not favor any individual player.
Despite previous criticism regarding Call of Duty’s lack of innovation by including old maps, the reintroduction of Gulag Showers appears to be a welcome and favorable addition.
